We aim to introduce an interdisciplinary art program that fosters creative problem solving and effective collaboration. With disruptive technologies becoming increasingly integrated into the business world and daily life, we could achieve great potential in delivering an inventive, interdisciplinary class system by leveraging our expertise and technology.
We organized our very first class in early Jan, 2020 with the help of a group of fantastic students passionate about creative initiatives, and in collaboration with the top 1 elementary school in Chengdu, China.
We utilized art as a visual media, and folktales of Chinese ancient beast as story lines to bring about an innovative art class. We have gained 4.35/5 satisfaction rate on average and 4.53/5 willingness to take similar classes in the future.
Special thanks to our amazing team with a diverse background, ranging from cognitive science, art and design, education, philosophy, math, and political science: Tailai Liao CCA’ 21, Eva Wang Monash’ 21, Leo Huang UCB’ 21, Cara Yi CMU’22, Cara Mu Ivey’21, Shutian Zhou UESTC’ 21.
